Fresh Start Individual Development Accounts

Have you ever dreamed of starting your own small business but didn’t have the money to get started? If you meet eligibility criteria, you may qualify for money to help you achieve your dream!

Piedmont Community College offers the “Fresh Start IDA Program”, which helps low to moderate income people improve their lives through starting a business. 

This program combines financial management training and small business training with a matched savings plan (free money). Your savings of up to $1,000 is matched with up to $2,000 of program money. To learn more about this exciting program, attend an information session August 28th from 6-8 p.m.

This short session will provide a brief overview of the IDA program benefits and requirements.
